Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 oz whole wheat spaghetti
  • 1/3 cup reserved pasta cooking water
  • 1/4 cup sun dried tomato pesto
  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 medium lemon, juiced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley

Method

  1. 1Cook spaghetti according to package directions.
  2. 2Reserve some cooking water before draining pasta.
  3. 3Drain pasta and set aside.
  4. 4Add reserved pasta water and pesto to same pot.
  5. 5Whisk mixture and place over medium heat.
  6. 6Add drained tuna and cooked spaghetti to pot.
  7. 7Season with salt and pepper.
  8. 8Stir 1-2 minutes until well combined and heated through.
  9. 9Remove from heat and add lemon juice and parsley.
  10. 10Toss to combine thoroughly.
  11. 11Divide between bowls and serve.
